This overlay was 2-years old in 2000 when Hawk-Seal-E was first applied.
A utility repair was made 6-months after the Hawk-Seal-E application and a patch was very poorly installed.
We returned and, with a hand sprayer, made 3 applications of Hawk-Seal-E to the repaired area. The Hawk-Seal-E was allowed to thoroughly saturate the crack between the new and the old asphalt.

A street superintendent has this to say about Hawk-Seal-E’s performance on pothole patches:
“A week before one of our asphalt streets was Hawk-sealed, I had a large cold patch installed. I expected the patch to come out within four months but I wanted to see what Hawk-Seal-E would do.
