Hawk-Seal-E
|
Hawk-Seal-E is non-hazardous and environmentally safe.
Hawk-Seal-E is worker friendly and environmentally safe. Here, it has been applied to walking trails along the
environmentally sensitive Missouri River in Montana.
The same warnings apply to Hawk- Seal-E that apply to water based paint. Some people may be sensitive to the fumes in the concentrated form; however, these fumes are non-toxic.
Exposure to fumes can occur if the drum is hotter than 110° F / 43° C and the worker opens the drum with his nose just above the bung hole.
Hawk-Seal-E is a water-based system and has no pH problems. The resin concentrate is sticky and precautions should be taken to prevent contact with the eyes.
Hawk-Seal-E can, and most likely will, contact skin and clothing during application. This is not a problem. Prior to drying, Hawk-Seal-E can be removed by flushing with water. If Hawk-Seal-E dries on the skin or clothing, an orange oil cleaner or Simple Green is recommended for cleanup.
Gasoline, kerosene, or a solvent with a high solvency rating may also be used to remove the product; however, when using these types of products all necessary precautions concerning ventilation, body contact, personal safety equipment, and the manufacturer's recommendations for product use should be followed.
